I made my mom this bag for her birthday. It is based off the pattern I used to make the diaper bags, but she wanted a smaller version. I embroidered a pagoda to go on the front flap, and used some kimono fabric. There wasn't enough of the kimono fabric for the whole outside of the bag, so I used some old black pants for the contrasting fabric.

That's mighty pretty and the kimono fabric is incredible. The black really sets it off.
